Meerut Institute Of Special Education

To meet the growing demand of Special Educators, Meerut Institute of Special Education had started Diploma in Special Education (MR) in 2008. Eight batches have already passed out successfully and ninth batch is in progress. The institute has all the facilities for running this course.

It is two years course. It is affiliated with Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut.
Eligibility - Graduation
Entry is through online test conducted by state University through JEE.
The course recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India. (Min. of SJ&E New Delhi)
No. of seats – 30

1) Diploma Special Education (Mental Retardation)

Duration - Two years ( Four Semester)
Eligibility - 10+2 passed
Approved by Rehabilitation council of India (RCI)
No. of seats – 30
The fee for two years is 80000/- ( 40000/- per year). The fee can be paid in two installment of 40000/- each.

Admission Process

RCI conducts online entrance examination every year in the month of April. This is advertised in National News Papers in the month of December, giving dates of deposition of forms and exam dates. Having qualified in entrance test and coming in merit list, candidates can seek admission in any institute of their choice which is RCI approved to run the course. The list of approved institutions can be seen on RCI website.
